7 For All Mankind Biancha Skirt in Medium Worn Whiskered Wash
Posted on May 18, 2012
It’s been some time since I was in my twenties, and it was probably in my twenties that I last wore a mini skirt. However, lately I have been in the mood for a denim skirt. I’m pretty sure I use to have some although after all these years, I have no idea what happened to them. Luckily for me and for you if you are looking, this is the season for denim skirts and what makes this trend great for everyone is that the skirts are coming in all different lengths. There is a length perfect for everyone at every age. Whether you pair your denim skirt with knee high boots, fun colorful tights, or just plain casual with sandals, your options are endless.
Let’s take a look at 7 For All Mankind’s Biancha skirt in Medium Worn Whiskered wash. What I love about this skirt the most is the button fly opening. This is a four-button fly, which I think looks great on this skirt. I also love the excessive whiskering in the front of the skirt. This skirt is not too short and not too long. It’s a good length that falls at the slimming part of the thigh, helping to create a longer and leaner look for your legs. In addition, to the front pockets there are coin slot pockets on each side, which is great for not sure what…little loose change or a folded bill maybe? Whatever the purpose is, it’s a nice little detail. The back pockets are simple. The fading on the rear help to give some dimension, which I never turn down anything that gives my rear some dimension
This skirt has a slight stretch to it that is very familiar with 7 For All Mankind denim and it is very comfortable. I really can’t say anything negative about this skirt. Overall, I love this skirt.
These days I feel like women all around me are redefining their ages and are exuding this confidence that makes them radiant. A confidence that comes from being able to do it all and look great doing it. If you are one of these women than hats off to you and may you continue to make strangers look twice. If you are one of these women then by all means ‘go brave and go short’ or ‘go long and go sophisticated’. The only right answer is that you love what you are wearing and that you are wearing it well. Enjoy this Biancha skirt and wear it well!

A year ago today, Susan and I sat at her kitchen table with our laptops before us as we published our first StylePosts review and celebrated our going ‘Live’. As we published our first post, we refreshed our web page so that we could see how it looked. We were so excited. And then…we waited…and waited…and waited…then we went about our day. It was a little bit anti-climatic considering how much we had been looking forward to this precise moment. We had spent the last six months communicating/brainstorming across the North and South American borders in order to turn our ideas into a website that we would be proud to showcase. From a simple email with an idea, this idea immediately grew legs and almost took on a life of its own as we talked about what our individual visions consisted of.
Many late nights later, we are now one year into doing what we enjoy. With an average of 1000 visits a week and visits from over 120 countries, we are extremely proud of what we have been able to accomplish so far. We have had the privilege to meet and talk with designers that in the past we admired from a distance and shared them with our readers. We have been able to collaborate with other websites that we never imagined we could work with. We have received emails from women who compliment us on what we are doing and what more they would like to see. Overall, the feedback that we have received has made this past year an exciting one for us. Watching StylePosts slowly grow is beyond words for us and beyond our initial expectations.
Another great milestone for us at StylePosts is that we have been fortunate enough to be in a position to allocate a portion of our earnings to support a charity. This charity needed to be an organization that was personal to us. The charity that we selected is My Stuffs Bag Foundation based in Westlake Village, California. My Stuffs Bag Foundation is an organization that provides new personal belongings to children who are removed from their homes and who have had to leave their belongings behind. These new belongings include comfort items, such as stuffed animals, blankets, books, etc. which are supplied in duffel bags. This organization serves children at sheltering agencies throughout the United States. As mothers, we wanted to support an organization that benefited children.
Reflecting back more than a year ago, Susan and I were just two women who shopped online because we just didn’t have the time that we use to after starting our families and we definitely didn’t have time for returning the items purchased. We wanted a trusted source to help us reduce the need for returns by providing more detail on fit, style, and quality and thus StylePosts was born. We want to take this time to thank all of our readers for supporting us and making our first year a great start. We hope that you will continue to support us and give us feedback so that we can continue to do what we enjoy doing, as well as support My Stuff Bags Foundation, and other organizations like them in the future. We look forward to another great year! Thanks again —
All Our Love,
StylePosts (aka Song & Susan)
