Of the many designer denim brands, Paige Premium isn’t one of the brand that I’ve bought many styles from.  I’ve always had a curiosity about some of their styles, the Lou Lou Tulip Flare jean being one of them.  I’m getting really into the wide flare leg jeans this season, so I was excited to try these.

These Lou Lou Flare jeans have a skinny fit through the thighs until it breaks 17 inches at the knee into a flare leg opening of 20 inches.  The flare isn’t an extreme wideleg flare.  The denim is a thicker, resilient material, made of 98% cotton and 2% spandex, giving a decent amount of stretch.  I was told that Paige Jeans run fairly small, so I tried these one size larger than my normal size.  I’d say these run slightly small, maybe about half a size.  Although they feel pretty fitted in the larger size, I prefer them to fit slightly tighter because they do stretch out a little after some wear.  I wouldn’t necessarily suggest going up in size on these unless you are in between sizes.

The color is called Sumatra, which is a medium wash with fading and whiskering throughout the jeans.  It’s a very nice basic, casual wash.  It’s actually the wash that initially drew me to these jeans.  The color reminds me of the 90’s when I used to buy Levi’s and try to fade them to just the perfect color.  I’d consider this wash close to that perfect color I used to aim for in my Levi’s.

The inseam is 33 inches, which is perfect for me if I’m wearing these with heels.  I like to be able to just see the tip of my toe when wearing flare leg or wideleg jeans, which is exactly where the hem on these jeans fall on me.  These have a 7 inch rise with a 12 inch back rise.

The washing instructions are: machine wash cold gentle cycle, tumble dry low, do not dry clean.

Some celebrities seen wearing Paige Lou Lou jeans are Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.

You can find these in their Twilight dark wash.  Buy Paige Premium Denim Lou Lou Tulip Bottom Flare Jeans in Twilight at Tobi.  Or also in their Sunset wash–buy Paige Denim Lou Lou in Sunset at Revolve Clothing.

  10. I need to import about 50 of 458 posts from a blogspot blog into wordpress. If I use the plug in import tool, I am concerned that it will duplicate the posts that were already imported in a previous batch. Also the prior posts have been re-categorized. I need to hold those as well. Any tips will help! Thank you..
