Rich and Skinny Groovy Cargo Leggings in Neptune

I originally purchased these in another wash while I was overindulging myself in the cargo craze. I was over the moon about the fit of Rich and Skinny’s cargos, so I had to try them in this Neptune wash. I’ve mentioned in previous reviews that I know that I really like a pair of jeans when I purchase them in multiple washes. This definitely applies here. The fit on these is amazing. They are so flattering and such feminine cargos.

I need to mention that although the look is similar and just as flattering in all of their cargos, these cargos fit a bit different in different washes. I’d say these particular ones in the Neptune wash run true to size, but they do have a lot of stretch.  So although they are very fitted, they fit comfortably. Made of 86% cotton, 11% polyester, and 3% spandex,  these jeans are very soft and comfortable. The waistband also has a lot of stretch, which is a nice way to avoid the dreaded muffin top. Like all of Rich and Skinny jeans, these have their signature inner waistband made of a soft and silky material in a fun pattern. These have a purple and green camo design.

I love the pocket placement of these cargos. They’re not like most other cargos with the pockets on the side of the leg. These cargo pockets are placed along the front thighs, adding a more feminine silhouette and not taking away from the skinny look of the jeans. All of the pockets have Rich and Skinny’s signature copper buttons, along with the button fly. There are flap button pockets on the rear as well as the cargo pockets.  The front pockets are patch pockets with the gold contrast stitching.  The color is called Neptune. They are a deep dark blue with some slight fading throughout. The gold contrast stitching allows the details of these jeans to really stand out.

The inseam is 30 inches, rise is 7 ½ inches, and the leg opening is 10 inches. These are very fitted. The beauty of these is that, unlike many other skinny jeans, you don’t necessarily have to be stick thin to pull them off. The color as well as the cargo pocket placements flatter many body types. The cargo pockets add an illusion of slimness in the thigh area. So if you’ve been afraid to try skinny jeans for this reason, these are definitely ones to consider.

The washing instructions for these are:  Machine wash cold inside out, normal cycle, do not bleach, tumble dry low heat, warm iron if necessary.

Some celebrities seen in Rich and Skinny cargos are Francesca Sanford and Sofia Vergara.
