I’d been hearing about the hype of this new brand, MOTHER denim, but for whatever reason, I put off trying them. I finally bit the bullet and tried a pair. Now I have no idea what took me so long. These jeans are amazing!! I love the fit on these jeans!!

These are the Curfew Flare jeans, which has a skinny fit throughout the thighs and then break 16 inches down the inseam of the leg to a 22 inch leg opening. I feel like the makers of these jeans were aiming to capture the true silhouette of a woman’s body. The rise is 7 ½ inches with a back rise of 12 inches. The material, made of 84% cotton, 14% polyester, and 2% elastane, is a lightweight denim. Although there is a lot of stretch to these jeans, they do run true to size. They stick right to the leg, giving a very flattering fit. The inseam is 34 inches.

The rear is what I love most about these jeans. The pocket design remind me of a modern version of the old school, classic Wrangler or Levi’s pockets. But they made the pockets in a way to give a very feminine fit. The pockets have a simple “M” design on them, and they’re placed lower, giving a very flattering illusion onto the derriere (always a plus for me!). The wash is called Blue Skies and Promises, which is a modest dark blue wash with no distressing or fading. The wash is followed by a gold contrast stitch and copper hardware throughout.

The front pockets are slit pockets with accent copper hardware. There is something about these slit pockets, along with the wash, that give these jeans a more classic 70’s feel. The wash instructions are:  Hand wash or machine wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low, cool iron if necessary, or just dry clean it.

Buy these in their Here Kitty, Kitty wash–MOTHER The Curfew Bell in Here Kitty, Kitty at Revolve Clothing.

Or if you like this Blue Skies and Promises wash, you can find them in their Runaway Style–buy  MOTHER The Runaway Skinny Flare in Blue Skies and Promises also at Revolve Clothing.
