Guest Model: Hudson Signature Boot in Roxy

The perfect staple that everyone should have is a great bootcut jean.  If you don’t have a great bootcut that you absolutely love then you need to go get one.  If you are looking for a suggestion; try these.  As we mentioned in our previous article, “Choosing the Right Denim for Your Body Type” – bootcut is the most flattering on all body types.  This cut suits pretty much everyone regardless of your shape.

The jeans I am reviewing today is Hudson’s Signature Boot in a wash called Roxy.  This wash goes with just about everything!  Roxy is a medium blue denim with the perfect slight fading in all the right areas.  The rear and thigh area is where the fading is most noticeable, which you would think that you wouldn’t want those areas to be accentuated, but really Hudson makes this work.   Another way that Hudson accentuates the rear is with their flap pockets for you big flap pocket fans out there.  These accentuate and enhance the rear perfectly.   These jeans are fitted from the waist to the knee and then breaks into the bootcut.  Fitted at the waist means that they will stay up and the flap pockets means that you rear will look great!  Whiskering around the front pockets add additional character to the look of the jeans.  But honestly, my favorite part of Hudson Jeans is their two button enclosure.  As simple as this may sound, I really love the look of this.  It’s a subtle detail that I love.  I love everything about this jean.

Our model, Myra loved these the minute she slipped them on.  She raved about the fit because the areas that she focuses on with denim are the rear and the length.  Myra is tall and slim.  She is the only one that I know that can pull off a 35” inseam.  She loved that she can wear these right away and didn’t need to wait for alterations.   In the past, she’s had trouble finding jeans that were long enough for her and wearing short jeans can really disappoint the look of a overall great jean.  And she loved that the flap pockets enhanced her rear.   What woman doesn’t appreciate a good rear in great fitting jeans?  Isn’t that one of the main attraction to jeans?  These run true to size and the fit is very comfortable with just enough stretch.   I love how she looks in these and I love the wash.  Get a pair!
