Siwy Hannah Jeans in Rapture

If you haven’t heard by now, Siwy denim has developed quite a following which includes many celebrities today.  And if you’ve ever tried Siwy jeans, you’ll know why.  I am particularly fond of this cut, the Hannah jean.  It’s great for petite ladies like myself (the inseam is 27 ½ inches).  And the signature Siwy quilted pockets are great for the backside.

The color is called Rapture which is a dark blue wash with fading and whisking along the thigh, rear, and lower legs (front and back).  The inner waistline also includes Siwy’s signature handcrafted label, which is one of a kind on each of their pairs of jeans/pants.  I love little details like this.  The material is made of 98% cotton and 2% elastan, leaving very little stretch.  I’d say these run about a half size small.  The waistband on these jeans runs a little tight.  If you’re in between sizes, then I’d say to go up in size.  The Hannah style is a fitted cropped jean.  The leg opening is a tight 9 ½ inches.  Because there isn’t a lot of stretch to these jeans as a whole, that includes the leg opening hem causing a tight fit into the jeans.  The rise is 7 inches with an 11 ½ inch back rise.  (Measurements may vary slightly according to different sizes.)

The washing instructions are:  machine wash cold, use non-chlorine bleach, tumble dry medium, use warm iron if necessary.

Some celebrities seen wearing Siwy Hannah jeans are:  Kate Moss, Megan Fox, Rachel Bilson, Kelly Brook, Abbey Clancy, Kim Kardashian, Hilary Duff, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Beyonce Knowles, Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Biel,  and many more.
