Current/Elliott The Roller Jeans in Daredevil

When it comes to comfort, Current/Elliott has really cornered the market with their boyfriend style jeans.  These are Current/Elliott’s Roller Boyfriend Jeans, and I must say, they are extremely soft and comfortable.  They are literally as comfortable as some of my PJ’s.  Made of 98% cotton and 2% elastin, the material feels very soft, and the denim feels like I’ve owned them for years as they’re perfectly worn in.

The wash is called Daredevil, which is a darker blue denim with fading along the thighs, knees, and rear, and some whiskering along the back legs.  I really like the color on these.  They’re a perfect blend of dark blue with the look of nice worn-in fading.  These do stretch a fair amount with wear, so keep that in mind when choosing your size.  They already run about a size large.  But they’re meant to have a more relaxed fit, so you don’t want to go down too many sizes.

The inseam is 32 inches when uncuffed.  These are meant to be rolled up like boyfriend jeans (hence the name “The Roller”) because the bottom hem is frayed.  The rise is 8 inches with a 12 inch leg opening when uncuffed.

Washing instructions are: machine wash in cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low, use low iron heat.

Some celebrities seen wearing Current/Elliott Roller jeans are: Jessica Alba, Dakota Fanning, Katie Holmes, and Rachel Bilson.

  1. […] The inseam is 26 ½ inches when uncuffed.  I cuff mine two times, giving them a 24 inch inseam length, allowing them to hit below my calf.  The rise is 9 inches, which sounds high.  But they don’t appear as a high rise because they sit low on the hips.  These are very loose fitting jeans throughout.  The leg opening is 14 inches.  I prefer the leg opening to be more narrow because I find the wide leg opening on cropped jeans tend to shorten the length of my legs.  If you’re with me on this and still looking for a comfortable boyfriend style jean, then I’d recommend trying their Roller Jean (see our review HERE).
