We’ve done a review previously on a pair of Current Elliott Cropped Skinny in Compass. I decided to do this review because although these are the same cut, the fit is actually quite a bit different. These are Current/Elliott Cropped Skinny in Super Stretch Loved. The difference is basically in the material.
Made of 75% cotton and 25% polyester, these don’t have much stretch to them. What I love most about these jeans is that they don’t stretch out with wear. You can count on them to fit nice and snug as when you originally purchase them. However, for this same reason, the material isn’t very forgiving. They are very snug, and the waistband is tight with very minimal stretch. So keep that in mind if you decide to purchase these. If you feel like you can barely breathe in them when you try them on, don’t count on them to feel much different over time. I’d say these run about a half size small. If you’re in between sizes, then I’d suggest going with the larger size.
I love the length on these. The inseam is 28 inches, which is a great length for me. They’re slightly cropped on me, hitting just above my ankle. These jeans are very fitted and skinny all over. The rise is 7 ½ inches with a leg opening of 10 inches.
The wash, Super Stretch Loved , is a medium to dark blue with fading and whiskering along the front and rear. These are a classic 5 pocket style.
Washing instructions are: wash in cold, tumble dry medium, low iron heat.
