I decided to pull out one of my favorite oldies for this review. These are Frankie B Love Capris. These were from a few years back when Frankie B jeans were super low rise. They’re still considered lowrise jeans today, but not quite what they were a few years ago. These have a low rise of 6 inches. One of the things I always loved about Frankie B (aside from the amazing cut on their jeans) is the cute detailed designs. These have the word “Love” embroidered on the rear right pocket with “Frankie B” pink stitching on the left rear pocket. I also like that the belt loops are a little on the thicker side, enhancing the waistband which sits low on the waist.
The color is called Tranquility. I find this wash a little tricky to describe because I’ve seen different shades of it on different pairs. The ones that I have are a medium to dark blue with very heavy fading particularly along the thighs, knees, and rear. However, I’ve seen others that have a more grey hue in the wash. I’m not sure why there were different variations to this wash.
The right leg has a small cargo pocket, which is another cute detail. The inseam is 22 inches with a 12 ½ inch leg opening. The bottom has a 1 ½ inch hem. These are made of 90% cotton and 10% elasterell p. They are very comfortable. I’ve gotten a lot of wear out of these jeans. The sizing runs slightly on the small side. These jeans were made when Frankie B’s sizing ran sizes 0,2,4,6, and up.
Washing instructions are: dry clean or machine wash cold inside out, tumble dry low, low iron if necessary.
