I’m not particularly fond of destroyed style jeans. But this style really caught my eye. There was something about the style of these as well as the wash that really caught my attention. These are Siwy Hannah Jeans. As with many brands, although the cut is the same, the wash changes the jeans tremendously. We’ve done reviews on Siwy Hannah jeans previously (see here in Ride and Rapture), but the wash makes these a completely different pair of jeans. I know that Siwy made several destroyed styles the same season these came out last year, but they were a bit too “holey” for me. But I liked these because the holes are subtle enough while still giving these jeans an edgy style.
Made of 98% cotton and 2% elastan, these jeans don’t have a lot of stretch to the material. In fact, I’d say they run almost a size small because of this. I took a size up in these. The leg opening is 10 inches. Because of the stiff material, the leg opening also doesn’t have much stretch, giving these a bit of a squeeze to get my foot into. The rise is 7 inches.
What I love about Siwy is how their styles, Hannah in particular, cater to petite women. These have a 28 inch inseam, which hits just above the ankle for me. I love the inseam length on these. The color is called Lilt, which is a medium blue with fading and distressing along the thighs, knees, and slight distressing on the rear pockets. I’m not crazy about the hole on the knee because I tend to stick my foot into it whenever I put these jeans on. But I do really like this color. It gives a relaxed look while not going overboard with the distressed holes.
Washing instructions are: machine was cold, tumble dry medium, warm iron if needed.
These jeans were seen on Jessica Biel.
