Current/Elliott Beatnik Jeans in Tumbled

I always love it when jeans are ready to wear and don’t need any alterations.  That’s part of the reason why I love it when I find a great pair of cropped jeans.  These are Current/Elliott’s new Beatnik Jeans.

True to form for most Current/Elliott jeans, these are super comfortable.  Made of 98% cotton and 2% spandex, they have a decent amount of stretch.  And they do stretch out more with some wear.  So keep that in mind when choosing your size.  I’d say to go down a size in these (however, go with your normal Current/Elliott size since they generally tend to run a bit large).  The denim is very soft and feels like they’ve been worn in over a long period of time.  One of the many things I love about most of Current/Elliott’s jeans is the soft feel of their denim.

The inseam is 26 inches (cuffed).  They have a built-in permanent cuff that’s 4 ½ inches thick.  My only complaint about these jeans is that I wish they were slightly shorter.  For a cropped jean with a cuff, I prefer them to be a little shorter than this.  But for those of you who are taller and blessed with longer legs, this length will probably look great on you.

The rise is a little lower at 7 inches.  Leg opening is 12 inches.  The color is called Tumbled, which is a faded medium blue wash.  As I mentioned, they feel as if they’ve been worn in, and the same goes for the color.  These are a classic 5 pocket style jean.  They’re a skinny style jean, fitted throughout the thighs and calves.  However, I find that even with Current/ Elliott’s fitted jeans, they stretch a bit with some wear and never feel overly constricting, adding to the overall comfort of their jeans.

Washing instructions are:  wash in cold water, tumble dry low, use iron on low heat, do not bleach.
