We recently did a review on the Current/Elliott’s Beatnik style jeans in the Tumbled wash (see review here). I loved the cut so much that I decided to try them out in a darker wash. This is Current/Elliott’s Beatnik Jeans in their Columbus wash. I know I’m a fan of a particular pair of jeans when I own them in more than one wash.
The style and fit remained true to these jeans in this wash compared to the other Tumbled wash. The material, made of 98% cotton and 2% elastin, is just as soft and comfortable as the Tumbled pair as well. They feel worn in from the start and are super comfortable. These are a cropped style jean with a 26 inch inseam. As I’ve mentioned in my previous review, the length on these are a bit long on me for cropped jeans that are cuffed. If they have a cuff, I prefer them to fit a bit shorter than this. These have a permanent built in cuff that is 4 ¾ inches thick. The leg opening is 11 ½ inches, and the rise measurement is 7 inches.
The difference in these jeans compared to the Tumbled wash is the color, which gives the jeans a little bit of a different look. This wash is called Columbus which is a dark blue color with slight fading and whiskering. The darker wash allows for more versatility in dressing them up and down from day to evening.
Washing instructions are: Machine wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low heat, iron low heat.
These have been seen on Mandy Moore who seems to favor the brand, as she has been seen in several different Current/Elliott styles.
