Paige Cora Shorts in Floral Patch

I realize it may be a bit premature to start pulling out summer wear.  But I was feeling inspired with the warm weather we’ve had lately here in Southern California.  These are Paige Premium’s Cora Shorts in Floral Patch.

I’m normally pretty self-conscience wearing shorts.  And being that these are fairly short shorts, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pull them off.  But once I put them on, I was determined to make them work for me.  The design was just too cute.  I love the front patch pockets (pockets measure 3 ½” x 3 ½”) with the burgundy colored floral designs.  The floral print on these is the same as Paige Denim Floral Ankle Peg Skinny Jeans.  But the flowers on these shorts are burgundy with a gray/light blue background.  The top of the rear slit welt pockets as well as the inner waistband and the rear center belt loop all have the same floral design.

The color is called Floral Patch, which speaks for itself.  The color of the denim is a medium blue color with some fading.  These are made of 92% cotton, 7% elasterell, and 1% elastane and have a lot of stretch to the denim.  I actually went up 2 sizes in these because, unlike the way I wear my jeans, I prefer to go up a size in shorts normally.  I don’t like when my shorts are super fitted the way I like my jeans to fit.  Otherwise, I’d say to just stick with your normal size in these.  I probably should have either taken my normal size or only gone up one size, as these feel a little too big for me.

The rise measurement is 7 ½ inches with a 2 ¼ inch inseam.  The full length of the shorts is 10 inches.  The leg opening is 22 inches.  (Keep in mind that measurements may vary slightly with different sizes.)

The washing instructions are: Turn inside out, machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors, tumble dry low, do not dry clean.
