Joe’s Easy Fit Crop Jeans in Georgie

I admittedly haven’t had much luck finding the right pair of Joe’s Jeans.  I never felt like any of their jeans that I’ve tried fit me quite right.  But I have to say, these have definitely caused me to reconsider this brand.  These are Joe’s Easy Fit Crop Jeans.

If you’re looking for a comfortable pair of boyfriend jeans, then you should read on.  Of all the boyfriend jeans I’ve tried, these come close to just about the perfect pair.  The fit is relaxed as a boyfriend jean ought to be.  But it’s not overly relaxed as to look too baggy or unflattering.  They’re a little looser along the thighs, giving a more comfortable and relaxed fit to the jeans.  They taper into a 12 inch leg opening.

The inseam is 26 inches (uncuffed) which  is a great length for me.  I can choose to wear them uncuffed as a cropped jean, or cuffed to allow them to look more like the boyfriend style.  I rolled mine up twice, giving them a 23 inch inseam.

The wash is called Georgie which is a dark blue color with fading throughout.  There is heavier fading along the knees and rear.  The color is a great classic blue jean wash.  I’m partial to darker washes that have vintage fading, which is exactly what this color is.

The style is a 5 pocket style with a zipper fly.  The rear right pocket has brown leather patch with Joe’s signature logo.  Made of 98% cotton and 2% polyurethane, these have a little stretch and stretch out a little more with some wear.  I’d say these fit true to size as long as you are planning to wear them as a relaxed boyfriend jean as they’re intended.  But if you prefer them to fit a bit more snug, then try going down a size.

Washing instructions are:  dry cleaning is recommended, or machine wash in cold inside out, non-chlorine bleach, tumble dry medium, cool iron if necessary or dry clean recommended.

i was wondering,…. when it recommends dry cleaning is it to prevent fading? i do consider the wash recommendations when purchasing because i prefer not to have to dry clean…. and do you dry clean your jeans? just wondering about your thoughts. thanks!

Yes, typically the dry cleaning recommendation is because of the color. Although this won’t allow the “worn in” feel as quickly for your jeans. I don’t usually dry clean my jeans. However, washing your jeans with vinegar is a great way to get them clean and not lose the color. Here’s an article we did on how to care for your denim. Hope it helps!

  1. […] I’ve been into comfort lately when it comes to my denim.  And my wardrobe as of late has consisted more of casual pieces.  I seem to wear styles in droves, usually the themes following whatever my lifestyle of the moment is.  My days lately have required clothing that is comfortable, quick, and easy to wear, so it’s probably easy to guess what attracted me to these jeans.  These are Joe’s Easy Fit Cropped Jeans.  We did a review on this cut in the Georgie wash (see review here).
