Hudson Loulou Tuxedo Jeans in Chopin

I’ve gained a new found love for tuxedo jeans.  Stay tuned for several more tuxedo jeans reviews on our site.  It all started with my Rag and Bone Midnight Tuxedo jeans which we reviewed earlier this year (see review here).  Today’s review is on Hudson Loulou Tuxedo Jeans in Chopin.

These are Hudson’s newest style jeans, inspired by LouLou de la Falaise who was the influence behind Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic Le Smoking Tuxedo.  They’re meant to have a cropped fit with a subtle relaxed style.  I normally prefer my skinny jeans to fit exactly as described—skinny.  But these definitely are more on the relaxed side, which actually allows for a lot of comfort in these jeans.  Made of 98% cotton and 2% elastan, there is a nice amount of stretch to these jeans, and the material is very soft.  They’re a thicker denim, which makes these a little harder to pull off for the warmer weather we’ll be experiencing for a while.  But then again, there’s always those cooler evenings.  I also really like the cropped length on these (26 inch inseam).  I’d say these jeans run about a size large, although they’re meant to be worn slightly relaxed.  And they do stretch out quite a bit after some wear.  If you prefer the relaxed look to these jeans, then go with your normal sizes. Otherwise, size down in these.

The interesting thing about these jeans is the contrast color side stripe.  It’s made of a glow in the dark phosphorescent stripe.  So you will literally glow in the dark wearing these jeans.  The color is called Chopin which is a beautiful olive color with a bright neon yellow side contrast stripe.  They’ve also been made in a burgundy color and a navy wash (stay tuned for our upcoming review on these).

These are a classic five pocket style with faux front pockets.  The rear pockets are more plain than Hudson’s classic flap pockets.  I really like the simplicity of the back pockets and how they’re placed.  The front coin pocket has Hudson’s signature logo pin, which is a nice little accent to these jeans and all of their jeans.  The rise measurement is a comfortable 7 inches with a 10 inch leg opening.  (Measurements may vary slightly among different sizes).

The washing instructions on these are:  dry clean only.  This is probably due to the phosphorescent side stripes.

These Hudson Loulou jeans in Chopin have been seen on Emmanuelle Chriqui.

I just want to say I am just very new to weblog and certainly loved this web blog. Almost certainly I’m planning to bookmark your site . You really have fabulous writings. Regards for sharing your website.

  2. you can also save a lot of money when you do some home rentals, just find a cheap one**

  3. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPods. It works well, but isnt as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser thats not an issue, but if youre planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPods larger screen and better browser may be important.

I have seen a lot of blogs in blogspot. What purpose do they serve? Is it possible to make money through blogs. If yes how?.
