One of my favorite jeans I’ve reviewed so far this season is Citizens of Humanity Riviera Jeans (see review here). I love the bohemian style of the patchwork details. So I got really excited when I saw these. I’m a big fan of patchwork style jeans. And with the whole color block trend currently going on, these jeans are spot on. These are Siwy Kasia Skinny Jeans in Requiem.
I really like Siwy Jeans, particularly their Hannah jeans. I love the cropped fit on them. If you’re a fan of their Hannah jeans, then you will definitely like the fit on these jeans, as it is very similar. These are also cropped jeans with a 26 inch inseam. What sets these apart a bit is the bottom hem. One of my favorite things about this pair of jean is the frayed hem. It adds something a little different. The rise is 7 inches. These have an extremely skinny fit, more so than most of the Hannah jeans I’ve tried. They are body-hugging throughout the thighs, calves, and down to the leg opening of 11 inches. There isn’t much stretch to these jeans. Made of 98% cotton and 2% elastan, don’t rely on these jeans to have much elasticity. In fact, I’d say these run almost a size small. They are very fitted along the waistband as well.
The color is called Requiem, which is a medium blue with fading throughout the thighs, calves, and rear and whiskering along the waistband, front, and rear. The front knees have navy blue colored patches that are 8 ¼ inches long and made of a thinner, non-denim material of 100% cotton. As an added bonus, the jeans come with a detachable accessory made up of feather, metal beading, and rhinestone letters spelling “SIWY.” It reminds me of a roach clip, which used to be one of my favorite accessories when I was a little girl before I learned what their actual purpose was. 
The rear pockets are also a little different from Siwy’s classic styles. These pockets are plain in style without Siwy’s usual signature quilted design. I like Siwy’s signature pockets, as they add to a rear lifting illusion. But I don’t mind the simplicity of these pockets as well.
Washing instructions are: Machine wash cold with like colors, only non-chlorine bleach, tumble dry medium, warm iron if necessary.
