I am always leery about purchasing light colored clothing of any kind. So although I thought these were so cute when I saw them, I was really hesitant about purchasing them. With the combination of my own clumsiness, on top of my kids’ soles of their shoes somehow always touching my legs, I didn’t think I’d ever be able to keep these clean. But with all that, I still had to try them because I just loved the color on these. These are Rag & Bone Skinny Jeans in Bleach Out.
The wash is a very light color blue with streaks of white. Believe me, the photos of these jeans do not do them justice. It’s really difficult to photograph the actual color of these jeans because they are so light. But it really is so pretty. And the light color is perfect for the summer. There’s also a beige contrast stitch that stands out nicely against the light wash. Being that these are such light colored jeans, they look best with a pop of color on top. I tried them with some neutral light colors, and it just didn’t seem to work with these jeans.
The material is 98% cotton and 2% polyurethane, which is a sturdy denim with a nice amount of stretch. These are, however, very fitted. They have a tight fit all along the waist, thighs, and calves. They fit tighter than most other Rag & Bone jeans that I’ve tried. So if you’re in between sizes, I’d say to go up in size. The leg opening is 10 inches.
The inseam is 30 ½ inches which hits nicely at my ankles with only slight bunching at the bottom. I decided to roll them up for a cropped look for these photos. I’m glad I can get away with not getting these hemmed. The rise is 7 ½ inches, which I’d consider a mid rise jean. These are a classic 5 pocket style with Rag & Bone’s signature initials logo stitched on the right rear pocket. (Measurements may vary slightly with different sizes).
These have been seen on LaLa Anthony.
