Paige Verdugo Ultra Skinny Jeans in Pollock

I hope you’re all enjoying the last days of summer for this year.  It hasn’t cooled down much (at all!) where I am, so it’s not feeling much like Fall yet.  But Fall fashion is certainly one of my favorites, which means I can look forward to pulling out my jeans.  Today’s review is on Paige Verdugo Ultra Skinny Jeans.  We’ve done a couple of reviews in the past on Paige Verdugo’s (see our reviews in Houndstooth Wonderland, Tumble, and Dusk).   Although these are the same cut, the fit among the different Verdugo’s are so different.

These in particular are made of 65% lyocell, 33% cotton, and 25% elastane.  They have an enormous amount of stretch to them.  Because of the elasticity in the material, they cling to every part of the leg.  I went up one size from my normal Paige Jeans size, but I think they could have worked in either size.  I typically don’t like to go up in size due to jeans stretching out over time.  But these feel almost like spandex, so I don’t see them stretching out all that much even after some wear.  They are so comfortable.  In fact, I need to re-emphasize that because these are literally one of the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever tried.  They are so soft, and the material is light weight.  So even in the heat, these are wearable.

The color is called Pollock, which is a gorgeous bordeaux color.  I’d probably best describe the wash as a wine color with a hint of purple.  It also has some slight fading to it, giving it a slight vintage look to the wash.  The inseam is 30 inches with a 10 inch leg opening.  The rise is 7 ¼ inches, which is a nice rise for me.  (Keep in mind that measurements may vary slightly with different sizes).

The washing instructions are:  Dry clean or machine wash cold inside out gentle cycle with like colors, lay flat to dry.
