Frankie B Skinny Jeans in Distressed Star

Today I’m happy to do a review for a pair of jeans by one of my favorite brands, Frankie B.  These are Frankie B Skinny Jeans in Distressed Star.  Just when I thought I was about finished with the stars pattern trend, I came across these.  And being that they’re by Frankie B, I had to try them out because I just love the cut on all of their jeans.

Frankie B jeans are particularly fitted along the thighs, and these are no different.  They are skin tight throughout with a tight 9 ½ inch leg opening.  Although they are very fitted, there’s a lot of stretch and elasticity to these jeans.  Made of 72% cotton, 12% polyester, 14%rayon, and 1% spandex, they’re very comfortable and don’t feel constricting to move around in due to the amount of stretch.  Frankie B jeans are also infamous for their lower rise.  The rise on these is 6 ¾ inches, which is actually pretty perfect for me.  They don’t feel uncomfortably low, but they’re low enough to look flattering and less like “mom jeans.”  The length on these is slightly longer than I’d prefer for skinny jeans (31 ½ inch inseam), but it’s nothing a good tailor can’t easily fix.

The color is called Distressed Star which is faded grey color with white stars throughout.  There’s light distress along the front pockets and rear left pockets.  The right rear pocket has an embroidered “FB” logo, which is new to Frankie B’s more recent styles.  The rear pockets sit lower, which is also signature of Frankie B jeans, giving the rear a little lift.

I’d say these jeans fit true to size.  However, the thighs and calves are very body-hugging and tight.  So if you think that might be an issue, you may want to consider going up a size.

Washing instructions are:  machine wash cold inside out, do not bleach, tumble dry warm, warm iron if needed.  Or for you serious denim fans, dry clean for best results.

Buy these at REVOLVEclothing.com.
