Today’s review is on TEXTILE Elizabeth & James Ozzy Skinny Jeans.  I was on the fence about these jeans, as camouflage jeans hadn’t worked out for me much in the past.  The patterns have either been too loud, too subtle, or not quite the camouflage I was looking for.  I saw a similar pair of TEXTILE Elizabeth & James camo jeans  on Cheryl Cole , and I really liked the pattern.  So I was curious to try these.

The wash is called Olive Camo which is just about the most perfect camo pattern I’ve seen yet.  It’s a classic camouflage pattern with just the right mix of olive green, brown, black, and light green.  The wash is a little faded, allowing for a more neutral shade to the color.  Although this pattern’s been around since the 1800’s, there’s been a resurgence of this trend earlier this year.  That being said, I find that camouflage throws me for a loop in terms of how to style it.  After playing around with several pieces in my closet, I find that this military inspired print works well with a simple top or tee or a motorcycle jacket.  And a great pair of short boots also helps do the trick.

The cut on these is also quite nice.  Initially, they felt very snug, and I thought perhaps I needed to size up.  But once I got them on, they conformed right to my body and stretched out just enough to a flattering fit.  Made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, they have a little elasticity but feel rather stiff initially.  But I could feel them stretch out and soften up after just a little wear.  I’d say these run slightly small.  If you don’t like your camo’s to fit super tight or if you’re in between sizes, then I’d suggest going with the larger size.  It really depends on how you prefer to wear your camo jeans.  This particular pair runs pretty snug with a tight fit all along the legs, particularly at the thighs and calves with a 10 inch leg opening.  The rise is 7 ½ inches.  The inseam is cropped at 26 ½ inches.  I love the length on these.  I’m a big fan of cropped jeans.   (Keep in mind that measurements may vary slightly with different sizes).

Some other little details that stand out to me are the rear pockets.  They have 5 rows of a dark green stitch aligning the lower part of each pocket.  And the rear belt loop is slanted.

The washing instructions are:  Machine wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low, iron when needed.

Hello.. . I would be grateful for advice on creative writing copywright issues.. . When submitting poetry, short stories, novels, or features to publishers and literary agents to consider for publication, is it an idea to protect the copywright?. . If so, what’s the best way to do this?. . Thank you in advance.. . bgscotty.
