TEXTILE Elizabeth & James Iggy Boyfriend Jeans in Tornado

With the weather warming up again where I am, I decided to pull out some lighter color denim that reminds me more of Spring and the warmer weather to come.  These are TEXTILE Elizabeth & James Iggy Jeans.  TEXTILE Elizabeth and James is a 70s inspired line by the fashionista twins (you know, those little cuties from Full House ;)), Mary Kate and Ashley.

These jeans are a boyfriend style jean that are worn very relaxed and loose.  In fact, I’d say they run about a size large.  I’m wearing my normal TEXTILE E&J size in these, but they felt really loose.  It depends on how you prefer to wear your boyfriend style jeans.  If you prefer them to fit relaxed and loose, then go with your normal size.

The wash is called Tornado (some sites call the wash “Torn”), which is a light blue color with destroyed holes all along the front.  The front also has whiskering for a more vintage look to the wash.  There’s a particularly large hole on the right knee.  I thought it would bother me and tear more every time I’d bend my leg.  But it’s actually large enough so there’s not much more room for more tearing.

The front pockets have slash trouser pockets which gives these a more unique look to many of the other traditional front pockets you typically see on jeans.  The rear pockets are classic of TEXTILE E&J with no embellishments.

The inseam is 30 inches, but can be rolled up to any length you prefer.  The rise is 8 inches.  These jeans have a wider leg opening of 13 inches.  (Keep in mind that measurements may vary slightly with different sizes).

Made of 98% cotton and 2% pu (AKA polyurethane), these jeans feel very worn in.  And because of the relaxed fit, these are all around very comfortable jeans.

Washing instructions are:  Machine wash cold, turn garment inside out, do not bleach, tumble dry low, iron when needed.

Buy TEXTILE Elizabeth and James Iggy in Tornado at Amazon.

Buy them in a lighter wash, Textile Elizabeth and James – Iggy Denim (Ghost) – Apparel-at 6PM.

  4. Everyone says you can’t move a primary Tumlbr blog without deleting the account, but what about a secondary blog? I have two accounts, one that I use and one that I just started. I don’t use the primary blog on the old one, but I do use a secondary blog on the same account. Is there any way I can move that secondary blog to my new account as a secondary blog as well? . Thanks!.
