I’ve mentioned in previous posts that Citizens of Humanity jeans are of some of the most comfortable jeans that I own.  It’s particularly true of their Avedon jeans which we’ve reviewed in the past in the Ghost wash and also the Ever wash.  So I was pretty confident that this pair would live up to their standard of comfort.  These are Citizens of Humanity Avedon Ultra Skinny Cut Off Jeans.

I’m very partial to purple and burgundy hues, which shows in my choice of colored denim.  But the color green comes at a close second when it comes to my favorite colors.  I really like the wash on these jeans.  The color is called Jaguar Green which is a dark forest green with a hint of a grey hue added to the wash.  The contrast stitch is a light grey, almost silver color which is what probably adds to that grey hue that you may see in the denim.

I love the style on these jeans.  The inseam is at a cropped length of 25 ½ inches.  And the bottom hem is frayed, which is one of my favorite characteristics to these jeans.  I love the look of frayed hems.  The front rise is 8 inches, giving these a medium rise.  The leg opening is 12 inches, which make these a little more of a straight leg rather than a super skin tight fit, which is what most Avedon jeans are.  The material is made of 98% cotton and 2% polyurethane, giving these a lot of stretch and elasticity which adds to the comfort.  These jeans run true to size.

Washing instructions are:  Machine wash cold with like colors, do not bleach, tumble dry low.
