I’m really happy to do today’s review because I was so excited to share this with you all. I love finding pieces that stand out and are set apart from other things that we typically review. This is Joe’s Jeans Shirtall which is basically a denim romper. The beauty of denim rompers, this one in particular, is that they are extremely versatile. The whole outfit can change from an inherently casual daytime wear to a chic evening ensemble with just a little accessorizing.
I love the fit on this. It has a relaxed fit which is great for travel and all around comfort. Because of the looser fit, I’d say it runs true to size. But if you prefer yours to be more fitted, then go down a size. It’s made of 60% cotton and 40% linen, which is a fairly light weight denim. The denim is soft and has a nice worn-in feel from the start.
The wash name is Sandie, which is a light blue washed out denim. There are no holes or distress to this romper.
The inseam is 4 inches, which I really like. It’s short enough to add length to the legs, but it’s not too short. The entire length from top of shoulder to bottom hem is 33 inches long. There are belt loops along the waistband. The front opening, pockets, and sleeves have pearly white snap buttons. The sleeves are long sleeved which I prefer to roll up for a more relaxed look. Being that it’s long sleeved, this romper can easily take you right into the fall.
The only downside to this shirtall is that going to the restroom is a little tricky. I wore this out to dinner with a girlfriend, and using the restroom took some creativity. 😉
Washing instructions are: Dry clean recommended. Or machine wash cold inside out with like colors, no chlorine bleach, hang dry, cool iron if necessary.
