Top 5 Fall Trends for 2013

As one season ends and a new one begins, I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful summer this year.  Hopefully everyone was able to soak up some sun and sand with friends and/or family.  Summer always seems to go too quickly for me.  Something about warm temperatures, kids out of school, and a lighter schedule, makes each day pass a little bit faster than the rest of the year.   Now that we are approaching the end of August, let’s get our selves out of vacation mode and back on schedule.  Whether it is heading back to school or work, let’s head back looking fresh and our best.  Pull out those boots, booties, scarves and jackets…Fall is here!!! Let’s take a look at our top 5 denim trends for this Fall that will have us looking our best to compliment our sun-kissed complexion.

#1 The Leather Pants – Leather is no stranger to cooler temperatures and in the past the skinny leather has been very popular.  The skinny leather will continue to be a hot item this Fall along with it’s cousin the looser fitting leather pants.  From the boyfriend leather to the trouser-like leather, you’re sure to have several options to choose from this Fall.

Leathers

#2 The Overalls  – Don’t underestimate this trend.  These aren’t your traditional overalls.  These are a great way to express your style and confidence.  Pair this trend with a cute little bootie and you’re set.

Overalls

(Left to Right: Current/Elliott Ranch Hands Overall, Citizens of Humanity Quincy Overalls, Elizabeth and James Lars Leather Overall, NSF Buddy Overall)

#3 The Moto Jeans – Who does not love the extra details on the knees.  Not only is this an additional detail to great denim, but also practical since it reinforces one of the areas where jeans get the most wear and stretch.  Moto jeans continue to be a popular style with some enhancements.  Take a look at these.

#4 The Grey Jeans – Grey is the color this Fall.  And this does not only apply to denim.  Grey is making a big comeback this season and you’ll see it in everything from jackets, tops, tops to denim.  Take a look at these great shades of grey.

Greys

(Left to Right: Joe’s Distressed Skinny Jeans, Current/Elliott Maiko Silk Ombre Coated Dark Castle, 7 For All Mankind Skinny Cropped Ankle Zip Jeans, Rag & Bone Buxton Skinny Jeans)

#5 Print Denim – Last but not least, my favorite trend is the printed denim.  I love seeing what new prints and designs are coming each season.  Take a look at these fun prints!

  2. I’m new to your blog and i really appreciate the nice posts and great layout.:..`’

  3. I have a limited account and an administrator account on Windows XP. I would like to import all of my Firefox settings from my Limited Account to my Admin Account so they are exactly the same..

  4. Maybe someone can help me. I want to create a website with a focus on current events in education. I plan to write from my website articles and even published literature. The articles I write will be reviews and criticisms from published articles. I am aware of the Fair Use Doctrine and I can write reviews and provide ‘fair and reasonable criticism’ without license or approval from the author’s original material as long as I cite and provide references to the original author. My website will also have either sponsors or advertise products within it. But not related directly to the articles I write. Most likely advertisement for products I like. For example, a particular software product I like. My question is: Just by having this website “for profit”; am I in violation of the Fair Use Doctrine or have a copyright infringement because my website is for profit from the published material I write …OR not because the material I write about is not in any way having a copyright infringement upon my sponsors or advertisements even though my website is for profit (In other words, is there any connection or relationship between my sponsors (or advertisements) and my published articles regarding copyright infringement with a for profit website)? Please reply. Thanks!.

  5. I am trying to get my articles published in a newspaper or magazine. How do I protect my work? .
