Skinny jeans are one of the best things that have ever happened to denim. More specifically, motorcycle skinny jeans are one of my absolute favorite styles. And one of my favorite jeans of all times is a pair of Moto jeans made by James Jeans which we reviewed a while back (see here). So when they came out with this new and updated version of their moto jean, I could not resist. These are James Jeans Moto Combo Leggings.
One of the things I love about James jeans is how well their jeans fit. That’s true for this particular pair. Made of 65% cotton, 33% tencel, and 2% elastin with a 10.5 oz. stretch, there is so much elasticity to the material that they just cling to every part of the leg, making the jeans feel like they were custom fit. And the denim is extremely soft. They almost feel like soft cotton leggings. The fit overall is very snug, fitted from the hips and thighs and tapers down to a tight fit down to the ankles. Because of the stretch in the material, it doesn’t feel constricting at all. I’d say these run true to size. But if you teeter between sizes, then I’d suggest taking the smaller size. The rise measurement is 8 ¼ inches and leg opening is 9 ½ inches. The inseam is 30 inches which sits perfectly at my ankles. (Measurements may vary slightly with different sizes.)
The wash name is Baroque & Ponte, which is a faded dark blue denim. The knees and thighs have a moto style stitch with a patched black paneled knee. These jeans are so chic and edgy. I love them! These are a five pocket classic style jean.
Washing instructions are: machine wash cold separately, tumble dry low, do not bleach, warm iron if necessary.
