I was so excited to see Fall starting to creep in here in Southern California. And this jacket is perfect for those chillier LA evenings. This is Anine Bing’s Army Jacket. Anine Bing’s clothing line has quickly become a fan favorite, and it’s very apparent why.
I absolutely adore this jacket. It’s one of the best fitting jackets I have. It’s light weight, so it’s a perfect Fall jacket. Living in Southern California, this jacket will likely take me through the winter as well. It’s perfectly tailored, and the material is stretchy and so comfortable. Made of 97% cotton and 3% elastane, it feels like a stretchy twill material.
The shoulders have epaulets which add a little broadening to the shoulders. The front is aligned with four flap pockets and a zipper and snap button closure. The sleeves are such a perfect length. 22 ½ inches from edge of shoulder to bottom of the cuff. The color is an olive green with a vintage faded look. The sleeve openings are 9 ½ inches.
The fit overall is tailored, which I love about this jacket. I went with my normal size, which fits just right. If you plan to wear it with thicker tops underneath, then you may want to consider going up one size. The sizes run from XS to L. It pairs really well with some skinny jeans and boots. I usually like to keep a neutral colored tee underneath, like white, black, or grey. Here I wore it with my favorite heeled booties, but it also goes really well with my ANINE BING Boots with Studs.
Washing instructions are: wash with similar colors inside out, all zippers must be closed. Do not tumble dry or iron. Do not dry clean.
