I am obsessed with leather. If I had a limitless budget, half of my closet would surely be filled with leather. When J Brand came out with these leather leggings in late summer, I jumped right on them. I couldn’t wait for the weather to cool down to finally start wearing them. These are J Brand Nicola Leather Leggings.
Black leather leggings are an absolute must in my wardrobe. I can style leather leggings with just about anything for just about any event. But the moto knee detailing on these threw me over the edge. The detailing adds an edge to these pants that I absolutely love. The style is J Brand’s classic 5 pocket style (front are faux pockets) with their modest approach of no embellishments, but their cuts speak for themselves. J Brand has a way of combining class, sophistication, and sexiness to all of their jeans, which is why it is still a favored brand of ours here at StylePosts.
The material is made of 100% lambskin leather. It’s a heavy weight leather, so these wouldn’t do well in warmer weather (that is, unless you’d prefer to be a Ross stuck in the restroom). The leather is very soft but durable. The color is called Noir which is simply just all black. I’ve already worn these a ton to several different events, and I will definitely be wearing them throughout this winter.
The rise is 8 ½ inches. The inseam is 28 ½ inches. The leg opening is 10 inches, but they have an outer 8 inch zipper opening. They run true to J Brand sizing, although I went up one size. This was actually by accident, but it worked out ok with the larger size. If you prefer your leather skinnies to be skin tight, then I’d suggest going with whatever size you normally wear in their skinny jeans.
I wore these with my primary New York Graphic Varsity Tee because I’m in a New York state of mind. 😀 I recently returned from a trip out there and had the best time.
These pants are to be Professional leather cleaned only.
