Citizens of Humanity Fusion Billow Pocket Loose Fit Crop Jeans in Runaway

I am really loving the big and baggy this season.  I realize that there are a ton of great prints and colors out but really the super relaxed and comfortable is what works for me these days.  It allows me to get down on the floor and play with my kids without the restraint of very fitted clothes.  The comfort is just too hard to pass up these days.   And I love that it offers me something different than the usual loungewear that I am tempted... Read More

Citizens of Humanity Riviera Patchwork Flare Jeans in Pioneer

There’s no other way to start this post other than coming right out and saying it. I love these jeans!!  I am a big fan of bohemian type styles, and these jeans definitely fit the category.  They have a real 70s bohemian feel to the style, and I love it.  These are Citizens of Humanity Riviera Patchwork Jeans. My favorite part of these jeans is the patchwork details.  The front thighs have mismatched colored denim patches.  The front and rear... Read More

Guest Model: Citizens of Humanity Boyd Velour Uber Low Flare in Velvet Merlot

It’s no secret by now that I favor burgundy and purple hues.  So it’s not surprising that these pants really caught my eye.  These are Citizens of Humanity Boyd Velour Uber Low Tight Rocker Flare pants. Given the cut on these, I was really happy to have Randi model these jeans for us.  With her height, these jeans really suit her body type.  I find that flare leg jeans tend to look most flattering on those with longer legs, which Randi has. ... Read More

Current/Elliott Low Bell Jeans in Anchor Destroy

When Current/Elliott came out with their Low Bell style jeans, I was over the moon.  It was such a perfect flare leg jean in my opinion.  (We did reviews in the Compass wash and Blue Moon wash).  So I was really happy to try out this pair.  These are Current/Elliott Low Bell Jeans  in Anchor Destroy. Like the other Low Bell jeans we reviewed, these are so incredibly comfortable.  The material is made of 98% cotton and 2% elastin.  The denim... Read More

Current/Elliott High Rise Bell Jeans in Patriot

I never thought I’d get into the high rise denim trend.  I never really felt that this style particularly flattered my body type.  But lately, I’ve gained an appreciation for some of the styles that have been made with a higher rise.  These are Current/Elliott High Rise Bell jeans.  I’m obviously a fan of Current/Elliott jeans, and more specifically, I’m a fan of their bell style jeans (see our Current Elliott Lowbell reviews in Compass... Read More

Joe’s Jeans Trouser in Raisin

If you’ve been following our blog, it’s probably pretty obvious that I’m a fan of the color purple.  So I probably don’t need to mention what it was that drew me to these pants.  But what set them apart from the others was that they were a trouser and not another pair of purple jeans.  These are Joe’s Jeans’ Trousers.  They remind me of men’s casual trousers but with a sleek feminine twist. I really like the cut on these pants. ... Read More

J Brand Lovestory Jeans in Ink

We previously did a review on the J Brand Lovestory in Dark Vintage (see review here).  These are the same jeans in the Ink wash.  They were purchased around the same time as the Dark Vintage ones.  I really went overboard on my J Brand obsession when I discovered these jeans around 5 years ago.  I love that even 5 years later, they are still just as popular.  J Brand’s Lovestory jeans are definitely a classic and deserve to be placed in the... Read More

Current/Elliott Charlie Pant in Champion

I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve done any reviews on wideleg jeans, so I decided to do this review on Current Elliott’s Charlie Pant.  These are just about everything I look for in wideleg jeans.  The bottom has a perfect 23 inch leg opening.  I’ve seen some wideleg jeans that are too wide at the bottom and some that aren’t wide enough, making them seem more like a bootcut jean.  But these have a perfect leg opening in my opinion. ... Read More
